Lori Lea, also known as Scissor Wizard Cosplay, has been involved in the cosplay community for over 15 and has won numerous awards nationally.
In ‘22 she and her cosplay partner represented the US on the international stage at the Clara Cow Cosplay Cup. She discovered the hobby while in college training to be a sculptor and utilizes that background with her approach in constructing costumes and props.
As someone with ADHD who struggled with a singular medium holding her interest, and a serial “hobby hopper”, she was excited to finally find an outlet that let her combine all the many different artistic skills and techniques she loved into one piece of art and has been hooked ever since. With each new cosplay project she tries to keep that spirit of exploring and learning, and loves to help other passionate creators push their skills to the next level.
